Click Here for Full and Half Day Camp Details

Our Day Camps are the first camp experience for many of our young soccer players and are designed to teach individual skills, tactics, and fundamentals of team play. We feature a top staff of capable instructors who can fully demonstrate each skill. We begin every morning with a staff demonstration on individual skills, break into our coaching groups by age level and ability, and begin playing. We finish the morning with matches in each age group. At Full-Day Camp, campers will receive a nourishing all you can eat lunch (M-Th) in our air conditioned Bates House cafeteria on campus. This is a favorite with our campers and staff. They will then attend an afternoon field session. At Half-Day Camp, the program is condensed into a three and a half hour format. Enrollment is limited and these sessions have been sold out in the past. All day campers will receive an official camp T-shirt and Full Day Campers will also receive a sack pack.

Due to construction this summer, we will not have access to any indoor facilities. Our camp activities will take place outdoors in our beautiful stadium and on our practice fields. We will have adequate shade, but we have no alternative to go indoors due to poor weather. As a result we want to make you aware of the following changes in our program for this summer.

  • Full Day camp will be ages 7-16
  • In the event of poor weather our camp day will be cancelled. There will not be a makeup day.
  • We will notify campers by social media.

SPECIALIZED GOALKEEPER ACADEMY

Available at all sessions. Please indicate on your registration form if you would like to attend. Tuition is the same as corresponding camp session.

We believe goalkeepers develop best with a blend of specialized training in goalkeeping fundamentals and tactics; mixed with the game experience our league competition provides. Keepers are assigned teams and have the opportunity to put into practice in the evening league games what they have learned in their daily training.

The Carolina performance record for training goalkeepers includes “National Goalkeeper of the year” awards in 1985 and 1988, and 2000 and 2004 All-American awards. Carolina goalkeepers have played in both the MLS and in the English Premier League. If you come with your team or individually, you will not be disappointed.

For more information concerning registration, call 803-777-7829 or orvina@mailbox.sc.edu.

Mark Berson’s Carolina Soccer Camps or clinics shall be open to any and all entrants
